Each year we partner with a range of businesses and organisations to deliver an outstanding program that encourages sustainable living in our community.
The online addition of the Sustainable Living Festival will showcase diverse and inspiring events focused on how we can adapt to unprecedented challenges. This year’s theme is ‘Resilience and Recovery’ and will feature a variety of stories and resources aimed to inspire, teach and guide us on our journey to a happier, healthier and sustainable future.
From videos on preparing for bushfire, local habitat gardens and attracting nature, found and foraged workshops, Kids Pod sessions, cat enclosure guides, to discovering our regions local food offerings, we have something for everyone to enjoy!
The revised and updated Albury-Wodonga Garden Guide has been designed to provide you with local information and inspiration to create a beautiful garden that also cares for our environment, especially animals. It focuses on local native plants that grow well in this region. A garden of non-native plants can also be great habitat and be sustainable too. The ideas in this book apply to gardens of mostly exotic plants.
